Need some help with research

I know I've come across a lot of different estimates about how long it takes for dogs to learn new concepts. I'm writing an article right now and I've spent the last day failing miserably at finding academic papers describing how quickly learning occurs. Ideally, I would find something indicating how fast learning occurs as a function of task complexity, but at this point I'll take anything. Does anybody know about any papers on the topic?
