AKIKO - A Kai in the UK

Hello everyone! I’ve stalked this forum so 7 years, and dreamed of owning my own Kai. This year I finally decided to join and in June, a litter was born to Chibi and Yuna of Kai Ken Belgium/Takai Kennel. Last Sunday we made the journey from Belgium back to Shropshire to bring her home. She has settled in wonderfully, she’s polite to other dogs and we’ve began working on her recall which she’s already doing well with after failing it yesterday at puppy school but responding well to one-on-one training today. We are so happy to have her and she’s the most perfect introduction to the breed I could’ve wished for. A lifelong dream come true! I wanted to post an introduction to her as when I was looking for resources years ago, it was impossible to find any information or Kai living in the country been when I searched this forum. I hope I can be a point of contact and Akiko can represent her breed here for anyone wishing to meet the breed!
