I would say it will fully grow back next time he will grow the whole fur. So if he just finished last fur growing and is keeping the fur now, you probably have to wait longer. I don't think a single hair really knows it has been cut.

I have also made a few these kind of toys! I start a bit different so that there won't be knot at all at the starting end. I also tried few different "extras" few years ago to make them more fluffier or interesting to chase :) (Image)

I'm not 100% sure but if you want to show your dog, shiba may be the only option of those breeds. To my understanding UK KC has a lot less breeds than the FCI countries and mid-sized nihon kens aren't included.

It's mandatory to chip puppies here before you can register them. There are about 50000 dogs registered in finland every year and I have never heard of any reactions to chips.. I would assume it's safe to do.

Me neither :) Navi had her first official dog show a week ago. She did really well and got a good review. She also got her first certificate (CAC) and placed best of breed :D (Image)
