Norwegian buhund (3 years old, neutered) in Washington State

edited August 2013 in Rescue
I know this isn't NK but I know there's a lot of overlap in interest with Japanese spitz breeds and northern spitz breeds so I figured I'd post here in case there's a chance this boy will find a home :) Buhunds are pretty much a border collie or cattle dog in a spitz body. They herd by barking, so they are naturally a vocal breed. They're not senseless barkers, though, like yappy dogs. They're generally affectionate, friendly, and eager to please.

Here's the dog in rescue:

He was found in WA by a farm family 2 years ago and they couldn’t find his owner so they kept him. They are giving him away because he killed chicken and a sheep. Actually, the farmer was going to shoot him (!) and his wife got him into rescue :( He was great with the farm family’s disabled child. He gets along with a yorkie in foster and doesn’t seem to mind cats, and is friendly toward people. If you’re interested in adopting him, please reply here, send me a PM or an email (buhundblog@gmail.com) and I’ll put you in touch.
