I just got an email about a 3 month old female Shiba that has been rescued from a puppy mill and needs a $2,400 surgery to correct a grade 5 LP. Her info is here: http://www.savingshibas.com/selphie.html. Please consider making a donation, I am going to.

Poor thing! How stupid and cruel people can be, and how they can hurt animals (and not only) with greed. The asshole that bred her parents caused this! I'm sorry, this does nothing to help, and it's a good thing that they found her in time to help her.

Leon you are exactly right.  The breeder that I got Niko from has MANY shiba's with LP, so frustrating, discouraging and thoughtless!!
