Cool harnesses for dogs in need of space (and others)

edited April 2013 in Products & DIY
I always like the idea of a yellow bandana or something on DINOS (dogs in need of space) but who really knows what it means? That's why I thought these were super cool: harness/collars with labels! So they say if your dog is friendly, or doesn't like other dogs, or whatever! As far as I can see, they are only available in the UK right now, but still, great idea!

(I think Bel would need one that said "batshit crazy" but since that is not available, the politer version might be "nervous." *lol*)

  • I like 'em.

You can get collars with stuff embroidered- like mine have collars with their name and ph # on them really big. So conceivably you could order up a 1" nylon blaze ornage collar and instead of the name have it say NO DOGS. Or there are those harnesses like sandra has for Koji that you can have very clear patches made with words on them...his says "Honey Badger" ;)

I wish it wasnt apparent till you got close enough to read a collar or leash that Sage does not want to be approached by strange dogs, but its abundantly clear WELL before anyone is in reading range. :)
  • Yeah, I was thinking, Oskar doesn't really need one that says "do not approach" because a 110 pound Akita who is hopping and barking pretty much sends that message! *lol*

But Bel....people think she's just cute, instead of a crazed, multipersonality doggie psychopath who may be whining and wagging her tail because she's thinking about how fun it might be to kill your dog. ;)
  • I like these: http://www.dog-flags.com/
Oh, I like those even better! But still no "hey, I'm cute but psychotic, approach at your own risk!"

Lol Lisa, you could always just make a flag and write whatever you want on it.
