We saw an add in the paper for the SLO (San Luis Obispo) County Animal Services, and they had 2 dogs featured, 1 being (what looked like) a spayed female brindle akita. I tried to look her up on petfinder, but they don't list there, and their website doesn't work. This is one of their phone numbers (805) 781-4413. We can't adopt an Akita, but we can help if anyone is interested.
