    There is a beautiful picture in a dog book i have, I will scan it and post it soon. I love the Ainu dog more than maybe even the Shikoku? but they are so rare (i think) I couldn't find a breeder anywhere. That's a great website though.


     On a side note, the picture on wikipedia is not even of a Ainu dog, it looks more like a Eurasian.

    Hokkaido inu is quite popular in Europe (as for japaneese breed), we have more hokkaido inu kennels than Kai or Shikoku :)
